It often takes me 6 pairs of jeans to find one that fits right. I end up going into the dressing room with the size I wear, and both the size above and the size below, in both an average length and a tall length. Since it seems every dang clothes maker sizes everything differently, any one of those 6 pairs could be what fits me best.

I think a lot of the trial-and-error of finding the right clothes, and cutting down on the amount of time it takes to shop could be reduced if women's clothes were sized the same way as mens. Then you just need to know your measurements, and can pick out the right size pair to try on right of the bat.
