"Sigma Alpha Mu has no honorary members. Our Fraternity has never sought men of wealth and prominence for the purpose of impressing candidates with an imposing list of names. It is solely through the success of our own men that we place our hope for reflected glory. The day has long since arrived when Sigma Alpha Mu could proudly proclaim its own "Who's Who"--fratres who have won fame and recognition through their ability and achievements. Our alumni roll now contains the names of scores of men who have risen to prominence--a long list of distinguished physicians, lawyers, judges, educators, authors, entertainers, business executives, etc. We acclaim them all as true sons, not as adopted honorary members. We are indeed proud of them."
