I would think that moderators are here to make sure that discussions stay basically on topic and not degenerate into juvenilia. But I guess that it's a reflection of my advanced age.

AND THIS IS MY OPINION:

Now as for the doll itself, I see no problem with that at all. Remember, there are AfAm, Latino and Asian-American dolls on the market and have been for years. Such dolls are very important because they help, along with positive message from the parents, the child to develop a strong self-image, etc. Black dolls were just coming on the market in the late 1960s, when I was a child.
