4-1-1 ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 6TH, 2003
A new autobiography of Sammy Davis Jr. is ripping the zipper off his amazing sex life. The book, In Black and White, reveals Sammy's fascination with strippers and porn stars. He was reportedly so fascinated with "Deep Throat" star Linda Lovelace that he arranged to have sex meetings with her with the approval of his wife. In the 70's he traveled everywhere in his Rolls Royce with an entourage of strippers and porn stars. The legendary entertainer died at the age of 64 in 1990 from cancer. Sammy's third wife, Altovoise Davis, said to have fallen on hard times and is living in poverty after spending his estate. Atovoise did not help with the autobiography because she wanted to get paid for her information. Quincy Jones is preparing to bring Sammy's life story to the Broadway stage. I'm sure they won't go into details about the strippers and porn stars.
