We had many a Pepto comment in my chapter too -- whenever we were decorating, it always seemed that comments were to the effect of "No, that's too Pepto, maybe a little [lighter/darker/mauve-ier]"
Pepto always reminds me of my collegiate days, although I'm not sure if it's the color or the fact that I needed it so much...
