I really like Malik. I don't think he has the personality for cornrows, but the out of control 'fro is killin' me. I have a natural too, but he needs to tame it down a bit, or at least moisturize it, ya know??? I also don't see why he likes Nicole...they seem like very extreme opposites.
I like Coral, and I can understand where she's coming from. I am in contact constantly with white folks that have "tunnel vision"--meaning they only see white america. Like no one else exists in the whole world except white folx. But that's my spin on the situation, once again, influenced by MN.
I don't think we should be quick to blame Coral for the whole Mike situation. He didn't have to say what he said in the restaurant. And..he was with TWO black people, how did he think they would react to the BS he was saying..and in public??? I think Coral handled the situation well in the restaurant. I don't think she wanted to make a scene, and talk to him out of her anger. And let's face it...Mike isn't the brightest bulb in the pack..at least she calls him out on it.
