Not at all hardcore. Some houses cut juniors but not heavily. We are getting more freshmen going through rush, but on the whole cut-throat is the last word I would use to describe LB rush.
It's pretty laid back, you don't need recs, all you need is a decent GPA and time to give=). I can't speak for all houses there obviously, but it's good fun.
