To clarify a bit further:
To serve on a national sorority advisory board (House Corps, Alumnae Advisory Committee), you DO need to be a member of that sorority (at least for Pi Phi).
To be a faculty advisor or university advisor, you DO NOT need to be a member of that sorority, nor is being a member of another sorority a bar to you.
