I know that this is the same for my school. I think we are the only chapter to have a member of our sorority as an advisor--we're definately the only chapter to have an alum of our chapter as an advisor. Our advisor graduated from our chapter, went to grad school, and is now a professor in the Chemistry department. She's really cool. It's nice because she can do double duty--be the faculty advisor for the school, and she serves on our House Corp for the sorority.
