highs:
I am alive - my car hydroplaned and flipped on the interstate Friday night.
The one person that stopped and waited for me to get out of the car and helped me get all my things into her car and drove me to her apartment.
The Bob Marley-look-a-like cabbie who played Abba just for me as he then drove to my friends apartment from aforementioned apartment.
The father of a young man whose death I wrote about last spring - when the son fell from a cliff in Colorado - wrote me a note of thanks complementing me on my composition and sincerity when I talked with his family right after they learned of his death. The note really put things into perspective.
I was paying on the car, that was totaled, but owe just less than $100 after the final payout. I thought I would owe $3,000.
lows:
the two nasty bruises, and scratches and aches and pains
Hope you all are staying safe and having a good end of the summer.
