The turtle rumors have been around forever. Not exactly sure how they got started.
I remember hearing my freshman year that there was this one turtle left who was part of an endangered/protected turtle species. UCF could not build on the turtle's land until the environmentalist groups were 100% sure this turtle had died of natural causes. Supposedly, people had seen this turtle in years but the turtle was still around because of "migration patterns".
I think "The Future" wrote an article a couple of years ago that said this rumor was completely false.
I was hoping Greek Park 2 would be built by the time I graduated. It was supposed to be underway by my sophomore year.
