Screw practicality.

I have plenty of friends who were in "practical" majors and HATED the work, and HATE the jobs that they have now. If being prepared for a job is that important to you, you can take other classes in career-minded things and do other things (like working part-time) that can boost your marketability. But, as far as your major, you're fine. I know art history majors who went straight to Goldman Sachs after graduation. It really doesn't matter.
