I wasn't popular or unpopular in high school. I was well known because I was a floater.
I had friends in every group but the very extremes of the uber pocket-protector nerds and the self-proclaimed exclusive popular crowd.
I myself did choir, drama, soccer, StuGo, SADD, FCA, and then I was in almost all AP/Honors classes. So I had exposure to a lot of groups of people.
I had friends that were jocks, bandies, brains, preps, goths, skaters and d&d dorks.
I guess that my main group was pretty much the B or C-List. I had friends on the A-List and I was nominated for court stuff, but I felt most comfortable with the normal level kids who were unpretentious and just there to have fun.
