there are 5 public high schools in my town and 4 private ones. My school has always been refer to as the "public-private school'. Even our "geeks" would be consider "preppy and snobbing" by other schools. When you would tell people where you were from you where called: a Beyer B*tch! (Beyer is the name of my high school)
Since my entire school was refered to as snobby it got pretty bad sometimes. I had 8 best friends that I was very close with. 7 of us played 3 sports a year (5 of us got full rides for college, on sport scholarships. I wasn't one of them
) The one that didn't play three sports was on varisty cheer as a freshman and did swimming in the spring. we were all in AP/college prep classes involved in almost every club. I was homecoming princess. it was fun I loved HS but once it was over, i'd never want to go back! college is so much better
In my school the 'cool' kids were the preppy, sporty,very very involved, and in the AP classes. Most were nice to everyone but we did have our b*tches and our slutty girls too.
almost all groups were cool with each other. Our school was more small groups of close friends that would hang out with other groups. We did have the typical 'outcast' groups but they wouldn't of wanted to hang out with anyone anyway.
Our band/drama kids were probably dubbed the 'dorks and geeks' but what was funny was they would go compete at weekend long events and come back and say how the other schools kept calling them snobs. its just funny how it worked.
