My mother didn't want me called Suzy-Q so I was called Lynn while growing up. When I asked her why she didn't just name me something else, she wouldn't give me an answer...my older brother is the same way..goes by his middle name.
Boy that causes a problem in the REAL world!!
When I got married, I wanted to make Lynn my FIRST name but Ga. Dept of Public Safety had a problem with that!!
