Entertaining is one thing. Connecting through the bonds of sisterhood is quite another, apparently.

But even this is nothing new - think back to the 50s and 60s where white kids could dance to music by black artists on American Bandstand and other shows, but black kids weren't allowed to appear on camera, or if they were, they had special "negro days".
