I just saw the buffalo wings comment -- everybody was grubbing and her sister-in-law asked if she wanted to eat one. She said that she didn't eat buffalo. I thought I was going to choke -- but it figures. The best thing that Nick could have said is exactly what he did: "honey, buffalo wings are named as such because the sauce originated in Buffalo . . . honey, don't you find it strange that buffaloes don't have wings?"
