I don't know if it's only because I've been on greekchat a short time and didn't hear about closures of chapters in other parts of the country before, or if there is an increase in this phenomena, but it's flooring me that *almost* every day there is an article posted here about another chapter at another university getting into trouble for hazing, alcohol or run ins with the police. Has this been typical for years? Are they cracking down harder on behavior of chapters? Are alcohol and hazing issues becoming more prevalent or just more in the spot light?
