2 stories, same year & teacher:

First day of gym class all the students sit on the bleachers and the teachers talk about the goals of PE, locker room rules, attendance/participation policy, etc. So it's my freshman year of HS and I was in a class with about 100 students, ages freshman-senior. They take group attendance and they get to my name. I say "here," and think I'm all set. But I haev a very distinct last name and it just so happens that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS PLAY SPORTS. We have quite a famous name in our towns athletic history. So of course just calling my name was not the end of it. The teacher asks "Hey Sarah, are you related to Michael (my father), Tom (my uncle), Jim (other uncle), Aaron (cousin), Jackie (cousin), and Mark (other cousin)?" So I was like "Um, Yeah..." and he asks, "So, what sports are you planning on playing?" I had to sit there and say "None. I'm doing colorguard..." and sit there as he laughed at me as if it was some histerically funny joke. (I AM NOT ATHLETIC!) I was so embarrassed.

THEN, later that same semester we're playing floor hockey and the same teacher pulls me out of the game for being "too agressive." Apparently I had hit the ball too hard and it went flying too quickly into the net...everyone laughed because apparently girls don't ever get taken out for playing hard.
