I didn't realize that this topic had already been discussed and "put to bed", so to speak. If I had, I certainly wouldn't have posted the message.
I didn't bring the topic up out of the blue any more than other topics -- every discussion has to start somewhere. I honestly thought I was pointing out something positive. I apologize for bringing down the morale of the group here...
You asked about my identity and my lack of posts. Well, I am a KD alum, and I generally just browse the boards. Not being actively involved in my sorority anymore keeps me from feeling like I should post much. For example, while I have certainly gone through rush on both sides, I can't really contribute to the current discussions -- my ideas and experiences are quite outdated. So, like I said, I usually just read things others have posted. I will occasionally let sisters know in chat when one of our pins is on ebay -- hence my screen name, The Protector.
One of my sorority sisters was harrassed repeatedly by someone on that site -- so much so that she ultimately removed herself from credible and productive cyber groups. Thus, discovering that the message board is down was a relief to me. My sister (who will obviously remain nameless) would undoubtedly back me up on this one.
So, there you have it. I mean no harm, and I apologize for bringing up the subject.
