I know what you mean. The way I have my LJ, anyone of my friends or registered users can post. If someone anonymous posts a comment, I screen it first.
I've had a bunch of flaming anon comments, but I really don't care. Instead of getting worked up about it...it's easier to hit delete.
I've only started using my filtered posts option recently, especially after that jerk Michael dumped me on my birthday. He and I are still civil, but I know that it's not really worth it for him to know how much I'm still bitter about it.
