HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Husband and I went to go see the movie after work on Friday.....and I was NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!!!!!!!! First I was embarrassed b/c we were the ONLY blacks in the movie Theater, and I HATE when they stereotype us like that........I think you should save your money, and wait until it comes out on video......or better yet, wait until it comes out on cable. It was a PURE waste of time, the plot was weak, the acting sucks, and how were we to believe Cuba and Beyonce grew up together, when he looks TWICE her age?????
I don't know why, but he reminds me of an Uncle Tom......I remember Beyonce stating that she did NOT want to sing in the movie, and only wanted to act....well I will give her props in the singing area,,,but GRILFRIEND can not ACT......come on Beyonce,,,,get the hint...you were only in Carmen Hip Opera to sing,,,,,you sung in Austin Powers, you sung in The fighting temptaions,,,,,CAN'T you see the TREND here???
