If it's been a month and I haven't heard from a user, I will generally leave feedback anyway b/c I do believe in leaving feedback. But sellers REALLY can get burned if they just instantly leave positives.
Most all of the sellers I've dealt with have left feedback for me once they recieve their payments, and then email me to make sure I got the item and it was acceptable. That's why I used the word "most" and not "all"

When I do decide to sell stuff, I generally do the same thing b/c I thought it was sweet that other sellers would email me to make sure I recieved the item OK.

Feedback matters much more for sellers than buyers. When you buy something, you have the chance to look at the seller's feedback before you buy it. As a seller, I can't possibly check all of my bidder's feedback. Feedback matters fairly little if you're not selling anything.
I definatley agree that feedback does matter more to the seller than to buyers! However in some instances, some sellers will cancel your bid if they see you have X-amount of negatives or just *any* negatives at all. Some sellers will even do that if you have a feedback of '0'. But that doesn't happen with every seller.[/b][/quote]

VERY VERY TRUE. If it's suspicious, don't buy it! Check to see their feedback left as well.
I agree that you should check the feedback they leave for others as well!!!
