LOL. I deleted the post because after I read it I thought I sounded a little snippy. But you must have been posting when I did it. Thanks for the verification on Miss Wisconsin. And yeah, here in MN we try to be politically correct when talking ethnicities.
We even differentiate between Asians (Chinese, Japanese, Koreans) and Southeast Asians because we have such large populations of Vietnamese, Hmongs, Cambodians, and Laotians, and they demand the distinction.
But to show you how little I have paid attention to the Miss America pagent (and only watched it this year because of Erika,) I did not even realize, (until I read Lazarus' post) nor could I tell that last year's winner was Black.
