I am so proud to be an Alpha Gamma Delta, because when I look around at the girls in my chapter and the many girls I have gotten to know from other chapters I see something that when growing up I didn't see much of, unconditional love for each other. To be able to talk to girls you have never met, to try to cheer them up, to be there for each other because you are sisters, means so much. Its one thing to call someone a sister, but when I look around we treat each other like sisters and that is something else. Plus when I see all my sisters coming up with different ways to help the community we live in, it makes me so proud because it shows how much we care about other people and that we enjoy helping others out. Here's what a sister means to me:

Sister is not just another word to me, it means being a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen and a heart to care. Its being able to laugh with each other, fight with each other and at the end of the day still be there for each other. The love of a sister knows no bounds and she is there to share with you all of the trials and joys of life. No matter what time of day it may be, she is there. I love every single one of you whom I am privileged to call sisters.

And I can say that everyone of my sisters has been there for me in my time of need, and I will always try to do the same for all of you. Without my sisters in Alpha Gamma Delta I don't think I would of survived my first year of college, and I'm sure they will help me get through however many more years I am here for. This is why I am so proud to be an Alpha Gam. I don't think there is a better feeling on earth then to be able to call so many wonderful women sisters.
