I know exactly what you're talking about.
However, at my alma mater if you said "Thetas" people would think you meant Theta Phi Alpha. "Kappas" would be Kappa Delta Rho, and "Alpha Phi" would make people say "don't you mean Alpha Phi Omega?"
We need to be happy about where we are in the present, while looking to the future. Sure I'd love to be at every huge school, but that comes with its own headaches.
