For those of you who are coming into Columbus via I-70 from the west....

.....well, there's a shortcut for you to get to Easton.

As of today, the Spring-Sandusky interchange (two inner-city thoroughfares--St. Routes 315 and I-670) is now 100% complete--and this project started 50 years ago.

Anyhow, all you have to do if you are going east on I-70 entering Franklin County from the west is get on I-670 and drive it all the way through the city until it ends at I-270 (our city's outerbelt). Get on I-270N and the Easton exit is the VERY next exit (you can't miss it--the Easton overpass has metal rails that have "Easton" on it over and over).

For years, the alternate route(s) were a pain to negotiate (i.e., I-70 to I-71) because of the heavy traffic that flowed through there.

BTW, the new 670 freeway gives you a GREAT view of our city's skyline--and it looks even better at night--very breathtaking.

Hopes this helps some of you.
