I just wanted to give you all an update as to where I stand in my AI journey
After I wrote a message on this board asking for advice when I hadn't heard anything back from any local Alumae chapters, I wrote a message back to headquarters restating my interest in AI.
Then......about a week later, I received an e-mail from the Philly Alumnae Chapter of AOPi! I was so excited...I spoke with the President and she was so nice. She invited me to their first event of the year which was this past Wednesday. I went to their get together and had an awesome time! I really enjoyed meeting these women and getting to know them. AND the BEST part about the whole evening is that I got to meet the newly elected AOPi International President because she's from the Philadelphia area and belongs to that chapter. How cool is that???
Anyway, I think things went well on their end as well as they all seemed to like me. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but I am keeping my fingers crossed
I wrote a thank-you note to the hostess for her hospitality. Is there anything else I should be doing?
