I believe we used to have something like this called "I Spy an ADPi" until it was banned by nationals a few years ago. This is just rumor that I heard from a senior last year (when I was a freshman) about something from when she was a freshman.

"I Spy an ADPi" consisted of ADPis wearing shirts with bulleyes on them and then guys/frats/other people could buy water guns from the sorority. The goal was (on a specific day) to shoot as many ADPis as you could, I think you could even win stuff/the contest. Apparently many (I don't think it was ever officially a signature program like DG's Anchor Splash though) college campuses used this philanthropy until nationals banned it (for obvious reasons--targeting women with water guns, especially when they have bulleseyes on their chests, is not the best philanthropic project nor PR for a sorority I imagine.... ).

Since "I Spy an ADPi" was banned, my sorority now joins with our sister chapter at UNC-Chapel Hill (there are over 200 of us together!) for a giant philanthropy called "Rock-A-Thon." Rock-A-Thon consists of getting pledges from people, frats, organizations, family members (etc, etc) for every hour of rocking that a girl does in a rocking chair (which was chosen, I think, b/c of its symbolic relationship to a sick child and then RMH). We go to Wal-Mart and they let us set-up outside for like 12 hours or something and we raise thousands of dollars. We earned a philanthropy award at Convention this year for this and our donations to RMH! (Note: some of those details could be wrong, I've never done Rock-A-Thon, this year will be my first & I am excited!! It's in 2 months or so!)

As far as a signature program, I (personally) think we have the best philanthropy out there so it wouldn't be hard to come up with SOMETHING! I mean, come on...who doesn't want to help sick kids?! I am at a loss for creativity right now, but I will sleep on it and get back to you
