Little Blue Crunchy Things is from southern Wisconsin. They are good . I haven't heard anything by them in a while, but I went to college with their former percussionist (an absolutely amazing musician), and they came to play occasionally at Lawrence. They did a lot of Latin-flavored stuff.

LBCT!!! This was my ex-boyfriend's favorite band in his freshman year of high school. Memories . . .
I think they broke up, actually. I remember them saying that they were going to break up, and then I saw them playing a few shows about a year after that, and since then I haven't heard anything.
Their website is here:

Another fun Wisconsin band is I Voted for Kodos -- I've been a fan since December '99, which feels like FOREVER ago. They're actually starting to get kind of big; they have fans all over the US and tons all over Wisconsin. I went to Summerfest this summer and counted three kids in IV4K shirts. They're really Reel Big Fish-esque, a little bit like Less Than Jake. They were travelling with Warped Tour for a while this summer.
This thread is so funny to me -- I used to be big into punk and emo and indie about three or four years ago, so Kara's Flowers and At the Drive-In and Further Seems Forever were all familiar names. It's so weird to know that none of them exist (well, at least not as they were) anymore!
