ok ok, so, can i tell y'all how happy i was to turn on PTI today and see wilbon absolutely RIP texas? It was great. Apparantly the cry babies up in Austin are sooo upset about their loss to Ark. that they've imposed a media boycott. Oh, why? cuz you don't want to answer any more questions about Mack Brown not being able to win the big game? boohoo. I'm sure y'all will be more than willing to talk your smack after you dismantle poor Rice this weekend.....unless of course Rice can pull one out. Just wait until Thanksgiving, when Fran's got the Ags fired up and THAT becomes another Big one year in and year out.
pooooooooooooor nutless bovines.

OK, so I feel the need to defend my team, although there really isn't much to defend, and I'll inevitably get flamed and made fun of by the atm, ou, arkansas, and all the other Texas haters.
I was at the game on Saturday, and I'll honestly admit it, Arkansas deserved to win. Texas completely fell apart, and there were some horrible, ridiculous calls made by the Texas coaching staff. Heck, in my opinion the score should have been a lot more lopsided.
And yes, I did happen to see PTI this afternoon, and I was not yet aware of the media boycott. I have since talked to a friend on the team (no names, but he is a starter), and the media boycott was voted on by the players, Mack and the rest of the coaching staff had absolutely nothing to do with it. They did not impose the boycott because they are "crybabies that are upset about their loss", the poor guys just want some privacy!! The media has been harassing them on and off campus, and at practices all week. All these guys want to do is put last week's game behind them and concentrate on beating Rice, which is exactly what they should be doing in my opinion. Yeah, its no fun to talk about losing a game, especially in front of 80,000 fans at home, but they have had no problem talking about what they did wrong. But the media only wanted to talk about the loss, and the guys are ready to move on and be optimistic about the rest of the season. This is why they imposed the media boycott.
With regards to Mack Brown, he is a wonderful man, one of the best recruiters in the nation, and very humble. However, I can't deny that he doesn't perform so well in the big games. But he is a class act, and the players adore him because he cares more about their well-being than his win-loss record, and there aren't a lot of coaches in college football today that I could say that about.
To the aggies, good luck Thursday night against VT, I'll definitely be watching. ou, see you in a few weeks in Dallas, hope you're ready, we will be. And Arkansas, good luck with the rest of your season, you guys have potential...but your players might benefit from some lessons in manners and how to be grateful winners, the Texas fans, students, and administration, and the Austin community were NOT impressed with their rude, offensive behavior after the game.
