I say go for it as well - it sounds like you've moved around quite a bit, and maybe this will be the time and place for you!

Like someone else said.... rejection does hurt. If you can, try to think of it as having been practise for going through recruitment this time.... you'll be so much ahead of the game and so much more comfortable because you'll know how it all works.

Ultimately, in my opinion, it comes down to three possibilities:

1) You don't go through with it, and you'll forever regret not giving it that one last try.

2) You go through with it, get a bid, and find your new home at last!

3) You go through with it and don't get bid. Then what? Like others have said, you can try COB/R or even AI. If still nothing comes of that? At least you gave it your best shot, and you won't have to live with the regret of "I could have should have"
