I feel the same way. I think, and this is totally MY speculation, but that maybe the relationship started out as infatuation for both, then they tried to force a significant relationship out of it. I kinda thought something was fishy about their relationship when they started giving each other large expensive gifts. To me that made the realtionship seem superficial.
