Anyone who's worked in theater will probably have had simliar days to this one:

6:00am- wake up, get ready, drink coffee en route to work
7:00am- arrive at work (secretarial/desk duties)
11:30am- leave work, eat banana and change clothes en route to theater
12:00pm- arrive at theater, work (semi-strenuous lifting and working with power tools, hanging upside down to fix lighting fixtures, etc....OR performing)
5:00pm- work through dinner break (lighting crew always works through dinner)
6:30pm- run across the street and grab a salad from the deli before it closes
6:45pm- back to work @ theater
2:00am- go home

...do it all again for a week straight...

this summer I pushed myself to dangerous limits...I don't reccomend it to anyone.

I worked 3 days like the one above only minus the eating. I just didn't have time and I basically "forgot." (when I'm busy I tend to forget to eat...it's bizarre.) By 10:30pm on the 3rd day I was gagging and throwing up nothing and the guys that I work @ the theater with had to force me to go home. On the way, I stopped to throw up nothing twice. It was not enjoyable. Don't do it. Know your limits, and don't forget to eat!
