It sounds as if they want to change Vandy's athletic mission into something similar to that of the Ivy League--as amateurs in athletics, not these megamilliondollar machines that, as we all know, relegate academics to a lower priority. If it means leaving the SEC--as many of those schools in the conference are known for being Athletic Powerhouses--so be it.
Which means that Gee's tenure up on College Hill rubbed off on him in more ways than we could have guessed.
