I knew a lot of people in high school, and they all knew me, but I wouldn't say that I was "popular." To classify as A, B, etc. wouldn't work because my HS was incredibly clique-y. Every clique thought they were above the others so there wasn't really an sort of hierarchy after that point. Now that I think about it, there were A and B lists within the cliques. The "gangsta's," "the preps," "the athletes," "the music/performing kids," "the goths/punks," "the brains," typical, typical STUPID groups. I had friends in many of the groups...hmm....
the homecoming king came from the band, the queen came from the brains, and the rest of the court came from the gangstas and the preps....
