They aren't going to be able to get away from the media, and in fact, they're probably wsting more energy trying to escape the media than they would if they just agreed to pose for a couple pictures and be done with it.
And as for the media being out of control -- if there wasn't the demand for it, they wouldn't be. We have nobody to blame for this but ourselves.

Yes I agree. 1. JLo brings it on herself. 2. If it was ME, I would have my photog release a handful of hand picked photos, and hopefully, that would keep it at bay.
I know plenty of celebs who've been able to keep their weddings, births of children out of the media, because they do not make a habit of courting it.
Even Jen and Brad's wedding was much less a circus than this, because 1. they don't court the media like JLo and 2. they had photg release a pic, thereby satisfying their appetites somewhat.
