I had Good Morning America on while I was ironing, so I was semi-paying attention. A couple had decided to get married on 9/11. The couple said that all of their friends were like why do you want to get married on 9/11, why would you want to? The woman responded that while it was a tragic time, they had to move on, and I believe she said, well no one from my family was directly affected by it.
Another story the show did, that I did watch/listen to as I was getting ready was about the babies who were born that year who lost their fathers in the attacks... I believe the number of babies was 67 (give or take a few, in the 60s definintely). They showed a video of a mother and her son, the mother points to her late husband's picture and asks her son, who is that? And the son says, daddy. And she asks, where is he? And he says Heaven. And she asks, who's he with? And he says God. I thought that was really touching.
