HC I started a new job Monday (same company, different position)?

HC the guy (who USED to be the manager, but got "demoted" by the new management) told me the following….
"Jane(the new BIG boss) told me to take you under my wing and show you everything, but I don't see why I have to do it. My title does not say manager anymore. She's the boss and she needs to do it".
HC I was hot as a pressing comb!
I told him that is an issue that he should have addressed with Jane beforehand, and not with me.

HC 3 days have gone by and he hasn't shown me anything?
HC another co-worker has graciously taking over the training?
HC he told me that he overheard what the dummy said and knew that wasn't right?
