Now does this mean you're going to get carded in the French Quarter? I wouldn't worry too much about it.

i go to nola regularly, one of my best friends works in restaraunt on bourbon street. there are places that you WILL get carded in the french quarter and i know people who have been ticketed or arrested for underage drinking or public intoxication in the quarter. it is still very easy to get drinks, but there can be some consequences! this is just FYI...i don't want any of you getting into too much trouble down here! i also notice that it seems very easy for people to get drinks here in the red stick, too! there are always older people around to buy, and no one seems to care that there are drunken kids falling around all over the place...
