Around April I think...they wanted to put her with Ned so they made her not a Quartermaine. When Tracey came to town, she revealed that the reason Rae left Alan all those years ago was because Tracey found out she wasn't pregnant with Alan's kid...it was some guy who worked on the docks. To make a long story short, Alan still acknowledges her as a daughter although she is not part of the family.
