the soror i most admire is SoRHOr LUELLA JOHNSON of the eta phi sigma chapter of gainesville, florida. she has been such a role model, motivator, mentor, sister, and so much more to me since i crossed at U. of Florida fall 2000. whenever i wanted to give up because i felt things were just too much to handle--personally and as far as the sorority is concerned-- she always was there to push me on and encouraged me to see all the great things that i could do instead of focusing on my limitations. her enthusiasm is contagious and represents SIGMA to the fullest. she has never been too busy for me and and has always been my listening ear. even though she pledged in 1952, she stays current on EVERYTHING and there is NOTHING that i can't talk to her about. she has provided me with tons of guidance and whenever i left her house after one of our 5 hour conversations, i almost got tears in my eyes thinking about how much she has meant to me over the past 3 years. from my first interview in the process of seeking membership in SIGMA to the day i packed up my things and moved back home to start my new life after college, she has always made me feel as if there were something special about me and that i am capable of handling what life throws my way. she has played the true part of a sister so much so that when i was preparing to move back to miami, i could not bring myself to go to her house to say goodbye because i knew that i would cry so much. i love luella johnson with all my heart and as a new grad soror, i know i have to make her proud because she is one of my major SIGMA inspirations. she never let me quit, she always made me stick to it, and she's always been my buddy. when i go back to gainesville for the big UF/FAMU match-up this weekend, you know who i'll be stopping by to see! big up to LUELLA JOHNSON!
