Adam King was arrested in Statesboro, Georgia, on August 18-but he Tells Hot Stuff that the only thing he is guilty of is trying to hail a taxi. "I had a few beer and wanted to hail a cab," King, 24, explains. "But it turned out to be a cop [car], so I scurried [away]. The cop thinks I'm running from him, so I voluntarily go, 'I'm sorry, officer. I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I thought you were a cab.' I think he recognized me and wanted to harass me." The mop-topped Beverly Hills resident was charged for being under the influence and loitering and prowling, all misdemeanors. He was released on bond just hours after being arrested. But King still wonders, "Can you loiter and prowl at the same time?. . .It's ridiculous!"
