Good choice! I took Math 140 as a first semester freshman and a biologly class the next sememster. I wasn't very strong in either area, but taking one at a time allowed me time to put more focus on the course that needed it the most. This was especially helpful during that transistion period for me.
Join a study group or get a tutor. Math majors are always eager to assist. Good luck!
