Oh, by the way, for New Member Retreat last weekend we went to LaFollette (near Knoxville). I had never been to East TN before, and it was a 235 mile drive EACH WAY and we only stayed one night. I had to drive both ways cuz I was the only old member in my car. It was lots of fun though cuz we were out on the lake all day swimming, listening to music, jumping off pontoon boats... LOL.
Lemme tell ya though- I am sick of driving through & looking at mountains!!!
Even though I grew up in West Virginia, I moved to TN when I was 15 so I'd never DRIVEN in the mountains before LOL. The Nashville area is sooooo flat compared to the Knoxville area. No wonder we always get tornadoes here. I'm glad to be back in I don't think I'll be considering UTK for Grad School now. LOL.
