Isn't this interesting! I haven't a clue about the majority of issues
being referenced. However, I do have an opinion on a few of the topics.

I too have felt like I would like to change my ID at times, take off the gloves and say what I think less all the PC BS that at times, takes precedence over the thought.

I have seen points/arguments that are so clearly credible, yet because the poster is not "popular", masses of people swarm to flog the messenger.

One thing I can say is within my GLO on GC, we have disagreements on issues one day and in harmony the next. I do not hold a grudge because someone has a different way of looking at things. Lots of people on GC hold grudges. Yet some GLOs, "cliques" and at times, Mods will fly to support one of their own-right or wrong-to the point of a thread being edited/locked/deleated or an opinion becomes so twisted, it isn't even recognizable.

There are too many "cry babies" who run to the Mods because their feelings got a bo bo. I may post "I don't like cats", everyone who loves "cats", or love the PEOPLE who love "cats" will take that statement and by the time the thread is locked-I have been turned into a kitty killer with a bloody club in my hand and a deceased kitten's head hanging over my fireplace.

I have been on two threads that have been locked...all within a span of a few weeks. WOW, AM I turning into a controversial person??? Kind of neat! LOL! I will not second guess the locking, but I didn't see the need at that point. Yet, I wasn't the one bombarded with complaints.

WHY DO SO MANY FEEL A NEED TO RUN AND "TATTLE" TO A MOD OVER EVERY LITTLE THING???

I would bet my bottom dollar if there was a forum that was completely void of PCness and "No holds barred", it would dwarf the other forums in no time...

Many do take GC too seriously.
