I'm concerned because of the message it may send. I love Whitney and her voice. I sincerely pray that she is able to get through her addictions and poor surroundings and see the light. I am just pondering the message that we are sending. Are we awarding Whitney Houston the Artist or Whitney the Person and how do we do one without allowing one aspect to overshadow the other.

the message it might send is that despite obstacles whitney has stayed on top of her music and is...despite her personal issues...one of the GREATEST artists of ALL time...undisputed...she is now into producing ...despite the ongoing drama...and will probably excel at that too...so i feel it is much deserved...
