Jay-Z And Lil' Kim Lead 'Source' Awards Nominations With Five Each
Jay-Z and Lil' Kim lead all nominees with five nods each when the nominees for the Source Hip-Hop Music Awards 2003 were announced at the Millennium Hotel in New York on Wednesday afternoon, (August 27).
The winners will be announced at the Source Hip-Hop Music Awards in Miami on October 13. The event will be broadcast on BET on November 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
The Source's co-founder David Mays shared his thoughts on the Awards in a statement, "The Source is proud to present the premier showcase for recognizing the incredible talents and creative genius of the Hip-Hop movement. It is truly inspiring to be able to bring together all of the leaders of the Hip-Hop community under one roof, for one night, to celebrate our generation's most powerful and influential culture."
