First of all do you consider your self to be a good cook? If you cook them...please don't tell your family ir's your first time b/c no one will eat them. They will start saying stuff like did you clean them well and makin up stuff about them. I love chitterlings and will ask my grandmother. I know the basic most important step is to make sure you clean, scrub, clean, scrub those things before you even let them look at the stove. It could be a disaster. What else are you cooking? Just in case that doesn't work.
