Thank you all. Not only the few who commented, but everyone who read this thread.

I just got home from the candlelight service which was sad and inspiring at the same time.

I estimate that there were 200 to 300 students, mostly Greeks, there. There were numerous flower bouquets and cards from other fraternities and sororities. There was also a delegation from the Delt Chapter at the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley. A number of Delt alumni, including former chapter presidents, the current and a former Division Vice President, a member of the Distinguished Service Chapter and a former chapter consultant from CSU also attended. It was a great show of Greek Unity.

One of the chapter members father who is a minister spoke, as well as a pastor from the Interfaith Campus Ministry. The President of the Student body and several representatives of the university were also there.

The deceased's Big Brother shared his memories, which was very emotional.

There will be a memorial service here in Aurora (Denver) on Tuesday. The local Delt Alumni Association with the help of the university is chartering busses to bring the chapter to the service. The Executive Director of the Fraternity will probably be here for the service.
